Beauty and the Beast! A Round up of Crafts, Activities, and Printables!

When I was approached about promoting Beauty & the Beast, excitement was an understatement. Shortly after, the news broke concerning the story line and a plot I was pretty sure the majority of my readers wouldn’t be okay with.
I know how social media tends to exaggerate certain stories, so I decided to wait for more information. I didn’t have to wait long because my friend Amy went to the screening and shared her review on the movie on her website and more thoughts on For Every Mom.
You will read comments from anyone who has an opinion ranging from being openly encouraging of the movie, calling for a boycott and those who could care less.
When someone posts their opinion concerning the plot, you can be sure you will read comments that contradict tolerance. In fact, my sweet friend Brooke posted her thoughts about the movie. She has received disparaging comments, her opinion attacked, and threatened because of her views.
Tolerance seems to be a cliche more than anything. I am reminded of God’s love and how He demonstrated that love should curve our responses, even if we do not agree.
Honestly, it doesn’t matter what your stance is concerning the storyline that has filled the internet the past few days. On March 17th, Disney is releasing its latest live action film Beauty and The Beast, starring Dan Stevens as the Beast and Emma Watson as Belle. This movie is sure to delight people of all ages.
I am a person of character and integrity. If I tell you I will do something, it will get done. Keeping true to my word with the production company to write this release, I hope you understand I promised a commitment.
As parents, we all have to decide the entertainment choices that are acceptable for our own families. I have shared my family’s convictions HERE if you are unsure of our convictions. How should Christians respond and can we use this to redeem the message? I thought this post was an interesting response to this question.
