The Mealthy, Cosori and Instant Pot are all Electric Pressure cookers. They are just different brands like Nike and Reebok. So similar, but different. With that said, I have something I want to make sure you’re aware of before we go any further….
The other day in a facebook group a discussion came out about the Mealthy MultiPot. There was confusion about recipes because if you google or look on pinterest, finding a recipe that is Mealthy specific will be very hard. This is for several reasons.
So please note….ANY recipe that is for Instant Pot, Pressure Cooker, Mealthy etc will all work interchangeably in another brand pot. Like I said, Mealthy, Instant Pot, Cosori are all PRESSURE COOKERS, they are just different brands. So keep that in mind when researching what recipe you want to fix. I hope that helps!
Why a Mealthy Multipot?
All the rave over the past few years has been about the Instant Pot. You’ve scoured the internet for recipes and have recreated many of them for you and your family. Maybe you have a Cosori Pressure Cooker or another brand. The point is there are hundreds of pressure cookers to choose from, so why the Mealthy Multipot?
Right now the Mealthy MultiPot has taken the world by storm. Instant Pot brand is still number 1 among amount of pressure cookers sold. However, the Mealthy MultiPot has risen to the coveted number 2 spot!
Take a look at my Box Opening Video of the Mealthy Multipot–

How to use a Mealthy Multipot
When it comes to exploring all the possibilities this pressure cooker has to offer, I can assure you, I am about to break it down so that there is nothing difficult about it. The Mealthy MultiPot has a lot of the same similarities as the Instant Pot and Cosori, but I’ve noticed that there are a few key differences!
Personally, I like to have backups to my backups in case one of my other appliances needs to be repaired. Having backups gives me the reassurance needed to know meals will be ready to feed my family. Seriously though, I enjoy testing so that I can give you the best feedback on various brands and Mealthy is currently a top favorite!

What is a Mealthy Multipot Pressure Cooker?
Even though it is considered a pressure cooker, it does offer other functions that make it a wonderful purchase. With 9 varying options, you just might be able to replace a lot of those pots and pans that you’ve been holding on to that’s taking up valuable space in your kitchen cabinets.
The Mealthy Multipot can slow cook, steam, saute and so much more! Plus, it comes with a steam basket right from the start. I love the fact that I didn’t have to order a whole bunch of add-ons right from the beginning. This made the price that much more affordable and I was able to use it with an even wider array of recipes out of the box.
The Mealthy Multipot creates a lot of food at one time. Be certain to invite over your family and friends because you’ll feed quite a few mouths. Not to worry, you can always adjust recipes to feed fewer people.

Mealthy Poultry Button
The ability to cook chicken without it drying out is the goal. I’ve used the poultry button for a wide variety of recipes and I haven’t had any mishaps with it as of yet. Cooked perfectly every single time.

Here are a few recipes that work great using the poultry function, or you can also use pressure cook button too:

Mealthy Pressure Cooker Button
This option is nothing short of awesome. This button allows varying pressures from light, medium and high depending on your specific need for your specific meal. This button can be used as a sort of catch-all type button if you aren’t sure what pressure is needed. However, you definitely want to keep an eye on the temperature so you don’t cook too long at high temperatures.
NOTE: If you are used to an instant pot, this button is the manual button or pressure cook button on their brand.

Mealthy Slow Cook Button
It’s like a crockpot built into your pressure cooker. Think back to the days of your parents or grandparents preparing a roast in the crockpot and letting it cook all day. I like using this on recipes that I want for dinner but I know I have several hours of errands to run. Also, you can use this guide for converting slow cooker recipes to instant pot, or pressure cooker to help you out!

Try these recipes using the slow cook feature:
Mealthy Saute button
This is one of my favorite options! This button allows me to saute my meats and vegetables all in the same pot. Not only is this faster, but it keeps all the flavor and taste in the pot! Plus, it’s fewer dishes for me to have to clean up in the end!

Give saute a try with these delicious recipes:
- Smothered Pork Chops
- Popcorn (yes!!! Seriously!)
- Salisbury Steak Meatballs

A great button to use to steam not only vegetables, but also fish. Add in whatever you want to steam, include your favorite seasonings and let the pressure cooker do all the work.

Easter will never be the same. Here’s a few EGG-cellent recipes you can try using the Egg button:

Now- in my personal experience with the Mealthy MultiPot I have truly enjoyed using it. In fact….I actually am preferring it these days to my Instant Pot. The Mealthy MultiPot comes to pressure faster than an instant pot. Another impressive trait is when doing a natural release, pressure comes back down much quicker with the Mealthy MultiPot than it does with other brands of electric pressure cookers.
Mealthy CrispLid

There’s more though…..most who have been here for a while or who have been in my facebook group know that I also LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my Air Fryer. Well…..Mealthy has done it! They have created a neat gadget called the CrispLid! So how does the CrispLid work? Well, you use it right on your Mealthy MultiPot to Air Fry & More!

Hang on though, you may have read through all this and don’t have a Mealthy MultiPot. Maybe you have an Instant Pot or another brand of pressure cooker. Never fear! The Mealthy CrispLid actually will work on ANY 6 or 8 Qt electric pressure Cooker! Watch my unboxing video below—-
