Modest Monday: Changes & Grace
Hello everyone!
I apologize for the inconsistent Modest Mondays. Clay returned from his overseas assignment and life has been incredibly busy for us. We are settling into post-deployment mode while also navigating life in a new town.
We also settled into a new church, Grace Chapel in Leipers Fork, TN. This is the church I began attending while Clay was overseas. We went through the membership class and joined a couple weeks ago. We are now going through the STEPS class (Standing, Transforming, Engaging, Pursuing, Sharing). The church is also different than what we’re used to, but in a great way! I can feel God already working on me and Clay feels the same way about himself. I will probably do another post soon on what God is doing in our lives, but right now just know that there are many changes both Clay and I are going through. Good changes. 🙂
So with that said, life happens and as much as I want to have a Modest Monday for you each week as I did for over 2 years, life does happen. I love blogging and love sharing our hearts, our life, and most important our Lord with all of you, but my first ministry is to my family. So if I don’t happen to get a post up for Modest Monday, I pray you will give me grace and know that it isn’t vanishing. I love you all and am grateful for my readers!
Now what did I wear? This outfit was from a couple weeks ago. It is a good outfit for transition to Spring:
Hair: Wind blown look lol
Shirt: Tank was from Old Navy, Shirt was Goodwill find. It has yellow, blue, salmon, and other colors in it. It was slouchy at the top so I tucked it into my tank for modesty. 🙂
Skirt: I can’t remember the brand but I bought it at the Exchange about 3 years ago.
Shoes: Zulily
In Christ,
Laura
