Finding a good, clean and uplifting show on television these days is nearly impossible. I have blogged a few times HERE , HERE and HERE on our convictions for entertainment. Recently, I was asked to review a new television program premiering on Hallmark. I was excited to check out this series because many programs I have watched on Hallmark fits within our convictions.
This Sunday, May 25th, “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” will premier. I was blessed to be able to view the first episode in advanced.
A Little bit about the program:
Signed, Sealed, Delivered
The new original series “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” is a wonderful combination of romance, comedy and drama that follows the lives of four postal detectives who transform themselves into a team of detectives to track down intended recipients of undeliverable mail. Their missions take them out of the office where redirected letters and packages can save lives, solve crimes, reunite old loves and change futures by arriving late but somehow always on time. The team includes charming Oliver O’Toole (Eric Mabius), the group’s leader is a man of faith who prayerfully approaches his work with the goal of making a difference in people’s lives; new team member, Shane McInerney (Kristin Booth), a technophile who brings 21st century sensibility to the group; free-spirited, “girl next door” Rita Haywith (Crystal Lowe) who has a photographic memory; and lovable Norman Dorman (Geoff Gustafson), a master in conventional research methods.
The show aires SUNDAYS, 8/7c on Hallmark

I am excited to share that this incredible series also incorporates scripture in its themes and in the conversations between characters. I love that this program is good, clean entertainment. I LOVE that this program incorporates Biblical lessons and the Bible. I do not endorse many television programs, especially in the mainstream media, so I do not share this lightly. Make sure you get the popcorn ready and set aside time Sunday for this wonderful new program! On a side note, this story is incredibly moving……I cried but I tend to do that :).
